How to Survive Holiday House Hopping

The holidays are one of the best times of the year, but they also can be one of the most stressful times. It can be a challenge to see all the important people in your lives during the holidays. It requires a lot of planning, travel, and socializing, but we are here to help! Below you will find a few helpful tips on how to survive your holiday house hopping experience this year.

Organize Your Gifts: Divvy up all your gifts the night before your travels. Use large plastic bags or trash bags to transport the gifts. Label bags with the name of the home the gifts are going to. This will ensure that your gifts don’t get mixed up and end up at the wrong home.

Keep Kids Entertained: Make sure kids have a toy to keep them entertained during car rides. You can even let the kids open up one small present before you leave and allow them to bring it along.

Prevent Hunger: Be sure to stay well fed and hydrated throughout the day to prevent holiday hunger and crabbiness.

Listen to Holiday Music: Listen to holiday music on the way to each house to stay in the holiday spirit.

Take some Alone Time: Seeing multiple families in one day can be exhausting. Make sure to carve out some time for your immediate family or significant other to spend memorable, quality time together.

Get a Good Night Sleep: It is important to get plenty of rest the night before, so you have plenty of energy to face the day.

We wish you and your families a joyous holiday season filled with peace, love and prosperity, and we hope that these helpful tips will make your holiday a bit easier this year.
