Out of the Box: Target Golf Game

Summer is coming, which means that kids everywhere are going to be in need of something to keep them busy while they are at home. This month’s Out of the Box project is fun and easy! Follow the steps below to create this entertaining game for the whole family!

Supplies:

1 Medium Sized Box

Box Cutter/Scissors

Ruler

Pen/Pencil

Colored/Construction Paper

Glue

Decorating Material of your Choice

Step 1:

Using your ruler, measure out the 5 different sized slots you would like on your golf game, there is no specific size each slot should be.

Step 2:

Using your box cutter or scissors, cut each slot out.

Step 3:

Using your scissors and construction paper, cut out a border to go around each slot. Label the slot with the amount of points you choose. Typically, the wider the slot is, the easier it is to score; therefore, the wider slots should earn fewer points.

Step 4:

Decorate your box to your liking.

Step 5:

Grab a putter, a golf ball, and enjoy!
